Applications and making a decision
From an application arriving to an approval or a decline.
For landlordsApplications arrive against the unit they were made for. You can request documents, chase references, and then decide.
Asking for missing paperwork
Send an upload link. The applicant uploads payslips, identification or anything else without emailing attachments, and you can see what has arrived and what has not.
References
Send a previous landlord or employer a form and Villagely will chase it. A reference is only marked sent once the email has actually gone.
Declining somebody
If your decision rests on a consumer report, United States law requires you to tell the applicant and to name the agency that supplied it. Villagely generates that adverse action notice with the bureau's details recorded on it — and refuses to generate one if you have not configured those details, because a notice missing them does not satisfy the requirement.
