Incidents, and how they differ from work orders
Something that went wrong, as opposed to something that needs fixing.
A work order is a repair. An incident is an event — a flood, a fire alarm, an injury, a break-in, damage to a communal area. They overlap, but the record you need is different.
An incident carries its severity, what was done about it, whether the insurer was told, and any police reference. That is the record you cannot reconstruct a year later when an insurer or a solicitor asks.
