Reporting something broken
About thirty seconds, and a photo helps more than a paragraph.
For residents- 1Open Repairs and choose Report a problem
In the app or the portal — both do the same thing.
- 2Say what is wrong
A short line is enough. “Kitchen tap is dripping” tells whoever comes out more than three sentences about when you first noticed it.
- 3Add a photo
This is the single most useful thing you can do. A picture of the leak often decides what the plumber brings, which decides whether it takes one visit or two.
- 4Say how urgent it is
Low, medium or high. High means unsafe or unusable — a boiler in February, not a squeaky door.
You can then follow it without ringing anyone. The status changes as it moves, and you will get a notification when it does.
