Adding and managing vendors
Your contractors, their trades, what you have spent with them, and their own login.
A vendor is anybody you send work to — a plumber, an electrician, a cleaning firm. Record their trade, their contact details and, over time, the jobs and spend attached to them.
Giving them a login
A vendor can have their own account showing only the jobs assigned to them. It is free — contractors are not billed as users — and it is scoped on the server rather than filtered in the page, so there is no view in which one contractor sees another's work or anything else about your portfolio.
Why record spend
Vendor totals accumulate through the year and are what 1099 preparation reads from. Recording as you go turns January into a review rather than an archaeology project.
