What Villagely sends, and to whom
Email and push. Not text messages.
Villagely sends by email and by push notification — on the phone app and in the browser. It does not send SMS. If that ever changes it will be documented here first.
What a resident can turn off
- Payment receipts — confirmation each time a payment goes through
- Repair updates — when something they reported moves on
- Announcements — notices from their property manager
The choice saves the moment it is made. There is no separate Save button to forget.
Permission on a phone
The app asks for notification permission only after you have signed in and are looking at your own screen. iOS gives an app exactly one chance to ask and remembers a refusal permanently, so asking on the sign-in screen would waste it.
