Setting up autopay

Autopay is the single biggest reason rent arrives on time. You set it up yourself — your property manager cannot do it for you, and cannot see your card details.

   Open Rent in the portal or the app

   You will see your balance and, underneath it, automatic payments.

   Choose Set up

   This opens Stripe, who handle the card. Villagely never sees or stores your card number.

   Confirm

   Rent is then drafted on the due date each month. You will get a receipt by email every time.

Turning it off

The same screen, then Turn off. It stops immediately; anything already collected is not reversed by it.
